I thought there may have been a fatality as there were Canadians at Dunkirk.
(HMCS Fraser that was rammed at Dunkirk on the final day of the evacuation and sailors were killed....not infantrymen!)

Meant to put 10b not 100b. Read it somewhere that they were 4th behind the US, Britain and the Soviets.

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)

What did the Australians do in ww2 and other conflicts? Check out this site:

Maybe a refresher thread is required for SA partcipation!

Quite pleased with that as I guessed most on the basis that any number chosen by Erik would be some amazingly high/impressive Canadian statistic.

Cheers,
Adam.

I hope to make another General WW2 quiz sometime today.

Re: Canada Quizzes

If anyone wants to have a quiz of their own, just send me the questions/answers (along with a few incorrect answers), and I'll add them to my script and give you the link.
