![]() ![]() | Not well up on Soviet designs, but is the first one one of the BT series? BT40/1/2. Christue suspension is a give away. Judging my the 76mm gun its either JS1/2 or T34/76?? T34 I think. Kev |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | But Christie with return rollers? Top one, I'm leaning towards the T-29,(haven't got a decent picture of one though, only plans) thought it might be T-46 but that's got no extra turret. Second one looks like a T34/76 with only the Mantlet showing? Good picture. Cheers, Adam. |

![]() | Good results, Gentlemen! Von Poop: My special respect! ![]() It's really T-29! ![]() This model was worked out for quite many years as wheeled modification of T-28. But it appeared that the tank was too heavy for this. BTs were much more light and even their latest modifications had much troubles with wheeled motion. A few different T-29 vehicles were built. During the battle for Moscow even experimental AFVs were used. But unfortunately there still no clear evidences where those had been used. Soviet archivalr ecords have some specific, which don't allow to do this. kfz: You are not far from the truth. It's an attempt to protect T-34 with concrete armor. The attempt failed, but vehicle itself appeared to be rather interesting.... regards, Alex P.S. To Von Poop. There were several vehicles under T-46 name. |

![]() | I'd go for a T-46-1, a prototype used as a fixed defense. http://homepage1.nifty.com/gizmo-caf.../t-46-1_14.jpg http://homepage1.nifty.com/gizmo-caf.../t-46-1_11.jpg And here it is for confirmation I swear I found it later!T-46-1 Tank, Light USSR
