As Owen mentioned I didn't know about this, but I spoke to my father today who thought this had actually been published on my own site, so I have put the same text on there with some additional photos. You can find it here:

Wonderful account to have of your own dad's experience though!
The things these blokes did at an age where I wasn't doing much more than stumbling around at free parties never ceases to amaze me.
Your old man looks kind of 'tough' with the 'tache Paul, Like a boxer in an Ealing comedy.
