![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Another tank that gets a mention in that report belonged to Sgt Lines' tank (he was a pre-war regular and a Desert Rat) Record says his tank had one oblique penetration into the extreme left-hand side of the front drive which disintegrated the gear box; a similar penetration on the top of the hull front just below the hinge of the driver's hatch; and a scoop on the turret roof. The tank burst into flames and the crew abandoned it. |

![]() | Another book with good info on Tank Crews cas, is "Sherwood Rangers" Casualty Book 1944-1945, by Revd, Leslie Skinner Chaplain 8th Armd Bde att Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry Regt. The book is copy of his original hand written notebook covering the Regt from 6th June 1944 - 17th May 1945. In the book it covers wounds & burials at the back of the book are details of all temporary Burials with maps. |

![]() ![]() | Not a problem as I spent two days at T.N.A. What I did tell Owen though is that there is a great deal more text to the file.All the photos and diagrams are on the disc,but there is a lot more to copy. |
