501 to 274th squadron

Greetings all

am in touch with a former Tempest V pilot in Canada who came back to his 501 unit which in turn became the 274th sq if I am correct, flew sweeps fall of 44 and chasing Me 262 jets besides train busting.

Anyone shed light on the 274th sq for me as to site, photos, etc. the Gent had 23 trains to his credit before he left for home in December of 44.

thank you Erich ~ ♪
