War Diaries in The German Armed Forces

All:
I posted something you might find interesting to the front page of my web site – “Notes on the Execution of War Diaries in The German Armed Forces.” It is a Foreign Military Study from the US National Archives. It gives an interesting perspective on the pluses and minuses of German unit war diaries and squares well with my own experiences as an Army staff officer.
Regards,
Marc

Jan:

I know of no Navy post-war military studies. That does not mean they do not exist; but because I look primarily for Army documents, I have not seen any. There are US Air Force sponsored studies prodcued after the war. I know that my answer is of no help; perhaps someone else on this forum has an answer.

Regards,
Marc
