The US Army in Europe kept short personnel files on those captured German generals who helped write the post-war military studies. | Excellent link MLW. I note he has even submitted a reference. I can just see him scanning the classifieds "WANTED - Ex- Field Marshal for potential military campaign. Must have 2 years or more experience, defensive warfare skills an advantage. Please submit CV pl;us references to..."

| Yes, others are available, I just don't have them. I only scanned von Leeb's file because of his association with the Maginot Line. From what I can tell, NARA has the original personnel file for every German officer who was in the Foriegn Military Studies program.
