German Archive Records

The Panzermuesum in Muenster has a number of documents available for downloading. One of these is a declassified document giving a guide to microfilms taken about the following Wehrmacht Divisions

1st Infantry 2nd Panzer 4th Panzer
1st Panzer 2nd Mountain 4th Light Infantry
1st Light Infantry 2nd Parachute 4th Mountain
1st Light Mountain 3rd Panzer 4th Parachute
1st Mountain 3rd Panzer Grenadier 5th Infantry
1st Parachute 3rd Mountain 5th Panzer
1st Cavalry 3rd Parachute 5th Light Infantry
1st Air Force Field 3rd Air Force Field 5th Mountain
2nd Motorized 4th Infantry 5th Parachute

These microfilms are now held in the German Archives but if you are looking for a particular aspect of the history of these divisions this guide will tell you what reference to quote to the archive. All you need to do is go here and register: Panzermuseum.com - Welcome! . Sorry but I cant upload the document as it is in .rtf format and it doesnt seem to want to convert!!!
