Vimoutiers Auction.

Auction of a French collectors bits and pieces on 10th, 11th & 12th November, amongst dozens of motorcycles there's a wide range of ww2 bits and pieces from Panzer Jacks to mine detectors and towed artillery. Amongst the vehicles going under the hammer are jeeps, a Kettenkraftrad, Opel Blitz, Kubel, Schwimmer, & Einheits Diesel.

Bikes from page one, Militaria from page 6(ish), bigger vehicles on last two pages:

wow some fantastic stuff on there. During my little browe I have seen a Panzershrek, various rusting shell casings, muzzle break from a Panther and a 75mm Howitzer

35k-40k euro estimate on the Kettenkrad...
Quite fancy the Wurfrahmen launchers on page 11.

Mon dieu! A British parachute container for 100 euros! Flak optical gunsights for 150 euros! A shagged Opel Blitz for 4,000 euros! This is almost as good as Beltring....I need to sit down and breathe deeply....

Appears to be, though I Don't have that issue, According to Martin Bull 'elsewhere' Alain Roudeix is the chap who's collection forms the basis of the August 44 museum at Falaise, so presumably it is he? (He's probably also the same chap that had another Famo restored recently, Owned & restored many other vehicles with his sons?)
He also definitely recovered the Vimoutiers Tiger.
Seems he's passed away and this is the fate of his collection.
