That's good Chris - I wonder if this will be the first case of this for a serviceman for WW2? Can you keep us informed.

Also forgot to mention that I have a RAMC Colonel on my books for recognition - a very similar case to this RAMC major in that he died within days of his retirement through ill health

Have also found the burial place of a VAD nurse on the Brookwood Memorial

the Field Marshall was one of Terry Denham's cases

What would be the feeling on this forum to opening a thread up for non commemorated casualties of the Second World War?

Re the medal could you keep the recommendation down to the BEM - dont want anything too ostentatious
