SD in WW2 CD rom

I have Soldiers Died in WW2 CD and am happy to look up for members, I also have access to Vietnam and Korea Casualties for the US of A and most other war dead databases.
The CD only covers about 100,000 men, my interests are Irish men who died in ww2 however where this CD falls down on its ww1 counterpart is instead of giving the name of the village or townland the guy was from it just says Eire Had I known this before I spent a fortune on the CD I would not have wasted my money. Naval and Military Press take note.

Not sure whether you can help.I'm researching memorials within Wolverhampton,I came across this man but can't pinpoint him on CWGC,His details
are as inscribed on memorial-1st GL NA(havent got a clue what this means)
C (or could be G )F Bullock.
Could you also look for a Pte W.H Taylor with connection to Wolverhampton/Willenhall

The other thing this CD cannot tell you is what battalion a man was in. For some reason that was left out in the original document, from which this was compiled. Makes it very difficult to work out where a man was!

I have also found that Army Soldiers attached to Commando units are usually with their parent regiment, with no mention of the Commando attachment - but this is normally shown in CWGC records.

Hello Doug.
I actually lots the home page url, thanks to you I have it agian. You are the first email I have from them. I checked the CD but it does not have data on naval personnel. However there is a WH Taylor, Trooper, No 7940653, Royal Armoured Corps, 12th lancers (Prince of Wales) RAC.Born in Wolverhampton. Residence in Birmingham, died on the 2/11/42 in the Middle East. This CD has the facility to print out his scroll also,again sorry for losing the url of this page

Could I ask a big favour
I have three mens names from a memorial that I can't pinpoint could you have a look on the CD they are L Fry, A Holden, A Martin, any conection with Wolverhampton could possibly pinpoint them.
I have ordered the CD Rom but can't wait for it

A Holdens from SALFORD,sURREY, kENT,sUSSEX,Manchester and Burnley....any of these your man?
