![]() | are there any ex ox and bucks vets out there and if so would you remeber my father his name was james flynn nick name jock he transferd to the ox and bucks from the middx regiment around 1940 or failing that any info on pegasus bridge or the regiment would be great thanks |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Remember that the Oxs & Bucks at Pegasus Bridge were only one battalion of the regiment; are you sure he was with them? The 1st Battalion was a standard infantry battalion in the 43rd (Wessex) Division; they had heavily casualties near Caen in July 1944, with many more re-enforcements arriving as the conflict went on.
