I often do not sign in because it takes so long to go back to the front page, then the portal, then to where I was originally looking. When I first joined you could select to go back to where you were after you signed but it doesn't seem to work any more.

So was everybody able to see who the guests were or just the moderators?

Regards
CTNana

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)

Hi Spidge

Am I missing something?
It is now 7:38 am (here in London , anyway) and when my page opened up this morning I could see that I was on line (fairly evident, that!) and three other guests.
I know that being a "Vet" gives me certain privileges (that I try not to take advantage of) but it would be nice to know what the status quo is.

It's not a problem, it's just a request.
I'm confused by this confusion.
  • We used to all be able to see what guests (& spiders) were viewing on the 'who's online' page.
  • When the site changed hands we lost this ability & can now only see registered members.
  • Being able to see all the guests (& spiders) was a great random reminder of assorted other threads that are often forgotten or neglected.
  • It would be nice to have the facility returned as it improves the breadth of accesible subjects on here without having to trawl through the individual forums with their many pages and hundreds of threads.
Cheers,
Adam.
