disabled members.

can members please understand that not all members have their own personal libraries at hand, with which to find quotes from books etc.for example;i have a district nurse visit me every morning, then two carers come and hoist me in and out of bed and then my mother looks after me for the rest of the day.i snapped my neck 11yrs ago now,i am paralized from my shouldes down.i can only use 1 finger and a peg to type as well. so if i am unable to quote somebody,or refer to a book, you must understand that my books, sources etc,are in my garage and rather difficult to get at.yours,lee.p.s.this is why my typing is crappy as well.

Ah Lee my old fruit! You will do me.... proud to know you...Anything I can do? for I know only too well the frustrations of not being able to do what you would like.
Sincerely

Hi Lee

Many thanks for reminding us all that not everyone is automatically blessed with the ability to move all their limbs, whenever they want to.

I would also like you to know that I consider your fluid writing skills put most of us to shame !

May I sincerely wish you and your family compliments of the season and I look forward to reading many more of your postings in the New Year.

Ron

Yes lee, everyone (should) realize that, I had a similar problem some years ago, after an accident I had a spinal operation, the doctor told me before the op that I would either recover, or be permanently paralyzed. Luckily it was the former.

I try not to criticize how people write, I sometimes "cantt spel wright" myself! We all have our opinions & thoughts, if I (or anyone) posts something that another member later posts contradicting data, I don't get offended, it's a learning process. So welcome back & nice to see new posts Wilts!

Ditto comments from others....., Lee.....my God....had no idea....this is one of several posts I've done this morning with me opened mouthed at all the new stuff I'm learning....and this was the bit of info that surprised me the most.....

Merry Chritstmas, Lee.....I hope you get out of there SOON and are home with family and friends before long.....very humbling to realize......so sorry, I didn't have a clue!!!....

PS....I make speeling errors all the time....and I've got all four limbs functioning....don't worry about that at all....I know what you mean when you write....

They most certainly can Lee ! They can 'ave 'ee for being drunk in charge of a perambulator so something with a motor will definitely put them on the Chief Constable's Christmas list

Mind you, I don't think that they can breathalyze - They might make you drive along a line chalked on the floor of the nick though !
