Any pictures of your models?

I have quite a lot of 20mm, mainly Britannia and SHQ, and I usually play with Rapid Fire or some of the older rulesets, although time hasn't permitted me to game at all for a while now. I currently have a number of plastic Shermans awaiting building on my workbench at the minute - been saving them for the winter!

I have played tons of World War II wargames since 1980, when I started, far too many for me to list.

But my obsession for some time has been the ultimate World War II tactical wargame, Advanced Squad Leader (www.advancedsquadleader.com).

You can see my ASL website at http://www.desperationmorale.com.

Crikey, squad leader seems to have come on a bit. Nice to see it still thrives. I have a vague memory of a similar game called 'Barbarossa' that took so long to lay out the counters that most people had lost interest by the time it was done.

I used to play Squad Leader and its gamettes some 20 years ago and it was a fun game. Mind, it was not "Advanced" yet! I still have all the counters neatly arranged in plastic compartment drawers and I pounce on the occasional victim for a game.

Yesterdat I ordered the WW2 rules "I ain't been shot, Mum!" rules from a nice outfit called Too Fat Lardies. With names like this they have to be fun, no doubt about it.

I used to play Panzer Leader years ago which was another game brought out by Avalon Hill. Really enjoyed it too. It was Tank warfare on the eastern front!
