You have Owen D to blame for this. We had just done some cemetery searches (which is not yet possible on line) and he showed me the thread you have started and I thought I'd do the 3rd the same. More useful format the the engine's usual output.
I used 3rd Bn as the filter, anywhere in the record, and it does not seem to have found any that are recorded as Attd. 3rd Bn.. - On the search engine you can't search on a secondary (attached) unit text, only the first unit text.

Nope, tried to follow that, but too techie for me I'm afraid ... my husband gave up long ago trying to explain the intricacies of his databases!! [Oracle programmer/analyst]

However, I am pleased no end that you did this for me. I told my father only yesterday that I would not be able to get him a comprehensive list of the 3 Bn, no matter how hard I tried. He wants it to go through the names and see what he can remember of his mates. You have made it possible. There can be no higher praise than that, I think.
