Smile Need help researching my fathers WW2 and Korean service

I have a list of awards which gives some info. For instance, he received the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze service stars for participation in the following campaigns: Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe and Rhineland but it does not list the units to which he was assigned or dates. Is there an online source for that type of information? He has a CIB from WW2 and Korea.
thanks - tk

As next of kin you should be able to apply for his army records:

Veterans - Main Page

(I'm assuming that he was in the US army).

What is his name? And year and place of birth. I'll have a hunt around (but applying for his records would be best)

I agree you should apply for a copy of his DD214 form. That will give all the information you need. Doc
