![]() | Tracing a Lt David Gordon Wilkes Grenadier Guards Also trying to find out any info on the above man. Have all the CWGC detal , but interested in finding out if this officer dies of wounds recieved during the war or whether he died of something else, whilst in Germany in December 1945. Stationed with the 1st Bn in Germany somewhere, I have checked a few GG histories and can't find him mentioned. Any GG experts able to help please. Thanks, Alan |

![]() | YES FOUND THIS OWEN, bUT CONFUSED WHY A MAN BORN IN bINFIELD BERKS WOULD BE ON A CANADAIN MEMORIAL, AS WELL AS A UK ONE, WHEN HE WAS IN THE GRENADIER GUARDS. NO ASSOCIATION FOUND BETWEEN THIS MAN AND CANADA, ALTHOUGH THE SCROLL SEEMS TO SAY DIFFERENT ??? Soory just looked up and noticed cap lock...No shouting at you ![]() |
