A re - introduction

Hello all,

A lot of you know me but seeing as I have been away I though this was the best place to say hi agian.

Just over a year ago myself, Paul and Lee started looking at the possibility of a WW2 Society. I was the driving force behind this as the time. However, I fell off the face of the earth. I feel an explanation is in order, I have already talked to Paul. Without going into many details I had a major issue arise in my personal life, which had to be dealt with. Also in my job my college has gone through a major upheaval that has taken up a lot of my time.

I am not making excuses and I do not expect everyone to be happy but that was the situation. Anyone who wants to ask question please do by PM.

I am glad to see the Society idea did not die and as I have mentioned I have been in contact with Paul and offered him my help and will be sending him all the info I have.

I hope everyone here is well and I hope to get back into it. Any questions please ask.

Ross

The ageless Few were sweeping by

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)
