![]() | Hi folks Hi everyone Just a little introduction as to who I am. Ive been interested in the whole history of 39-45 for as long as I can remember, sort of seems ingrained from childhood as mum and me lived with my Grandparents when I was a nipper. I know enough to know I dont know enough but always glad to help and always keen to learn more. I have in the past, and maybe again someday, also been involved in the living history side of things, starting initialy with doing veterens events as a teenager(not that I reenacted a teenager,I was one...no,I only reenact being a teen now Im in my 30s ),D Day 40 etc then moving on to join a few groups( Both "dark side" and Allied).Special interests include RAF from family conections,Market Garden ,the war in the East from the RKKA perspective and Polands underground Armies, especialy Armia Krajowa in the Warsaw Uprising. all the best (btw,Chipmunk wallah is from my Air Cadet days, the lovely old Chippie is the only 'plane Ive actually flown, though,at 14 and 15 obviously not solo )

![]() | Hi DBF York race course had a militaria fair ,I must have been about 16 when I got it(32 now) probably paid about 50p for it. Ive a few others like it , mostly Russian or Polish with a couple of NKVD photos of germans used just postwar to hunt aleged crims !. But most of my wartime photos are family pics Ive been entrusted with to keep for future generations(going back to my G Grandfathers pre ww1 days with the Aand S highlanders on the North West Frontier )
