Hello Everyone

Hi,

I'm on a steep learning curve. Looking forward to learning more about WW2. I'm trying to research my great uncle Thomas Thomas from the Rhondda Valley. Guess it ain't going to be easy :

Ayup Alison,
Sorry about the delay in getting you signed on (distracted by tanks is the only excuse I can offer).

Have fun, and I hope you find what you're looking for.

Cheers,
Adam.

Thanks Paul. As to regiment I'm trying to get hold this information. My mum is keeper of his medals and some papers so hopefully I will know soonish. All I know is he was a desert rat and survived the war. Unfortuantely he died around 20 years ago

Around that time I did meet someone who had served with him and due to no particular interest at the time didn't ask the right questions. You won't believe how frusrating that is now.

Thanks Adam - no problem. And a big thankyou to everyone for the welcome.
