![]() ![]() | [quote=Ron Goldstein;87794]Hi everybody and many thanks for the compliments ! The irony of it all is that Maria now lives in Australia and therefore it is hardly likely we will meet-up in Trieste during our proposed three day visit (my wife and I are moving on from there for a week's break in Venice). Cheers Ron[quote] Where does Maria live in Australia? If I can be of any assistance, please let me know. I live in Melbourne, Victoria. Regards Geoff

![]() ![]() | Hi Spidge Maria is visible (very) and easily contact-able on the "a Trieste" site which can be opened with this link: A Trieste ... :: View Forum - English section She is very well known contributor to the site under her nom-de-plume of "Refolo" and is acknowledged by everyone (including yours truly) to have mastered the art of calling a spade a spade and fighting the Australian's corner ![]() Note that to post on the site you will need to register and you will be pleased to hear that there is a English section for all of us who's Italian & Triestin is not up to scratch. Once again, Maria is also a regular poster on this section. If you decide you wish to make contact with her I would suggest that the site is the best place to start and I will, of course, be glad to be of any assistance. Best wishes Ron |

![]() ![]() | Hi Southern Geordie Thanks for that. If you like nostalgia go take a look at "Me & my Album" that I've just posted. There's a 100 tales there, if you just allow 3 minutes per story it will take you 5 hours to read the lot ! (that's if you don't pack up half way through sheer boredom/exhaustion).... don't say I didn't warn you ! Let me know which of the stories rings bells for you Cheers Ron |
