![]() ![]() | battlestations midway Stuck in this one now. Done ok up the point you need to do the raid and sink the transports. Odds are against you I reckon, You have 2 destroyers the Japs have 2 destroyer, x no of PT boats, shore based guns and two crusiers. I can normally make it as far as the crusiers appearing and then I get sunk. Any clue? Kev |

dont know yet, havent decided. like most untrendy thinky games you can pick it up pretty cheap now. Learning a bit about naval gunnery. If you have big guns and the baddies have little guns, you win, esp if you stay at max range. Kev | |

![]() ![]() | Think Ive got it. For the record. Split the formation, let Parrot on free move and torpedoes. do a sharp right (hard a starboard!) dont collide with Parot and head for the south end of the island, try to catch the Jap destroyer with you broadside and let go a a salvo of torps. while he is tryin to manevour get her with your guns quick. Dont enter the harbour but go round the little island using you AAA on the PT boats before they get into range. take out the transports around the island. by this time the crusier appears, so set Parrot to attack her. while shes bust trying to get parrot come at her from the other side. Her guns will be occupied and you wil lbe able to get in close with torpedoes. If you attack from both sides shes done for. Kev I think Im getting into this now. Recomened if you can get it 12 quid or so off EBAY or from your local exchange. Last edited by kfz; 24-03-2008 at 10:42 AM. |
