Just bought the game today and working my way through it - still in the snow of Bastogne at the moment! Very happy with it so far - a good extension to an excellent PC game.

There is a deal on at the moment Lee - in the UK PC game chain store Game (and probably elsewhere) where you can get both the original version and this extension for £34.99. Not bad when you think the extension alone costs £24.99!

The 3D enviroment in this game is one of the best I have ever seen - particularly Pegasus Bridge, which is exactly as it was. Quite uncanny for those who know it!

Plenty of action and good graphics; I haven't seen the PS2 version yet but the screenshots in PC gamer mags seem to imply they have done the PC version some justice on PS.

The only problem with both the original and new extension is that they are too SHORT! Blink and it is all over... oh well, here's to the next extension!

I must concur with that - 2 discs and far less than the 25 hrs' worth of play (although I first went through it on the easiest level). Have restarted on 2nd/3rd hardest level whilst awaiting Ult. Off. upgrade to arrive - quite 'challenging' to say the least!

Still, those amazing sounds and graphics have to be stored somewhere, I suppose. Same as Medieval Total War; 2 discs with great atmospherics and AI, but rather limited scenarios.

However, far more advanced than R to C Wolfenstein - previous yardstick - and no silly monsters.

with this game, it was mostly made to be played multi player, and if you have ever played it multi player the game is far better in this mode. and i have never even looked at single player since

v good game

10/10
