I played Panzer General II for ages but got fed up of fighting the PC.
Anyone got a copy and want to play on-line?
Never have so could be fun.
Anyone suggest another 2-D game along similar lines?

Have you guys ever tried Combat Mission? It's much more like a tabletop wargame, and not an arcade game; three versions now. Another on the way which may promise to be a WW2 version of RTW/MTWII in some respects:

Combat Mission

Hey, I got a copy of that game Blitzkrieg. It's alot of fun. Never had anything like that when I was a kid.

My friends kid had a bunch of files that were modifications of PGII that made the game sort of fun but nothing like Blitzkrieg.

Enjoy
