I give up.
I saved them into etmain folder, logged on to server to try them out and just sat there as server told me to wait while it downloaded the new maps.
i thought we were meant to by-pass that bit???
going off-line now to download Xmas photos of digi-camera.
won't be back for awhile.

Ahh Lee, seems Owen has the same problem as me. The two maps I downloaded direct from the forum won't appear. Seems that the .cfg files aren't bundled and so won't register.

Owen - sorry mate, the direct downloads are slow and will take about 3 hours in total.

Perhaps you have downloaded not just the files directly into the etmain folder but the actual directory called "current" on my server?

Not sure but it wont download the maps if it finds them in your etmain folder.

Nope, each pak3 file was downloaded individually. I used your files for 2tanks and heurtgen.

I downloaded each file from the link on this site.
As I said, went to try them out and got a message that ressurection would take 2 hours+ to download. I thought I'd already done that.
Here is screnshot of mt etmain file.
Have I got to unzip the files?
I'm currently extracting files.
I've extracted files,gone to play them and still when I log onto site it makes me wait to download new maps.
I'm confused.

ok hold on something not right they are not compressed files.

You should jsut be downloading files with a .pk3 extension, not sure why yours are compressed but they should not be.

Downloaded maps from the gameserver succesfully, takes a long while but like Owen I was only getting rar files from the main server and you can always walk away from the pooter and leave it to download, reminded me of dial-up days.
Maps seem to be working fine except for the 1944 beach one which isn't allowing me to move about & is flashing up connection problems.
That low gravity floating block one looks mental.
