South Staffs is an unknown quantity at this point
F/O Karel Valasek

I believe that this might be the man who was my next-door neighbour for many years......I have always mis-spelled his name, but have now found what I think is the correct spelling. F/O Valasek flew with 313 Squadron.... I was told that my neighbour flew Spitfires, and so this might be him.

In the late sixties and early seventies, he lived in Sedgley, nr Wolverhampton, and owned an old Rolls Royce (don't know what that has to do with anything but it might help).

I found his name here BataStory.net: Baťovci v řadách Royal Air Force can anyone translate by any chance?

Any suggestions?
