CAC Boomerang - Australia's stop gap fighter

Here's a great website about one of the restored Boomerangs in Australia. I think there are still just the two currently active in Oz and there was one in the US but don't know her status. Website gives an excellent run down on flying the Boomerang.

Very, very cool.

She is now owned by the Temora Aviation Museum but the website that I originally posted above was run by Matthew Denning who restored the Boomerang over a period of 20+ years.

Amazing.
$30 still seems an awful lot for the original pile of junk, the things these chaps achieve from such unpromising beginnings never ceases to astound me.
