Hurricane Z5252 recovery & 151 Wing

Thanks to a Russian site GH gave heads up on I've been Googling "151 Wing". Learnt something new today.
Found this about the recovery of Hurricane Z5252.

Hawker Hurricane IIB ‘Trop’ Z5252

Another thing I've learnt today is 81 Sqn badge had the Red Star in it to commemorate their service in Russia.
81 SQUADRON - RAF

134 Sqn had the gauntlet in it's crest changed to a red one.

Thats a fantastic find Owen. Nothing like giving the lake a bottle of whisky to help calm its surface. You see, alcohol can affect the weather.

Its amazing to read about the Hurricane in Russian service.
