Arado Ar 232

This aircraft design was supposed to replace the JU 52 "tante ju" in Luftwaffe service but under 25 were built. Novel design and just look at all those wheels!!!

I see what you mean about the similarity with the Skyvan Owen. It appears that the little wheels were to be used as a backup if the main gear "broke".
