 | Last German flight over the UK. The Arado Ar234 was the first purpose-built jet bomber, its type also made the last recorded German wartime flight over the UK on 10 April 1945 its reconnaissance mission took it from Scapa Flow in the Orkneys to the Firth of Tay, Scotland. | Thanks Peter. What a great looking aircraft. Always had a thing for the German jets, especially the Me262.
