Search feature finds serial range not squadron?

His spreadsheet only searches the number not the word squadron as that is a fixed feature.

I tried to search by squadron earlier and found this for 460 squadron.

Is this what you are referring to?

Yes. By typing 617 Squadron, only 3 planes come up (none from 617). Compared to the overall quality of the site, it's only a slight niggle.

Looking at those figures, 514 Squadron RAF really got hammered (losing 77 aircraft) seeing they were not operational until November 1943.
