Armed Forces Memorial.

Looking to see if there was an Atlantic Conveyor memorial for the Falklands thread I came across this British Legion Project:

The memorial project | Armed forces memorial

Surprised as I don't think it's been mentioned on here before?
Scheduled to be finished in late 2007.
Donations Welcome.

Cheers,
Adam.

Kitty is an unknown quantity at this point
Hoping to see this. The walls have large scultpures in them depicting the fallen and the injured, then on Midsummers day at Noon (I think) the sun will shine directly through a narrow door in one wall and illuminate the fallen hero. Going to be quite something. The money has now been raised I believe, and work has already begun. Was in the papers last year.
