Dinxperlo Holland & St Julien France

Found these memorials in Dinxperlo, the first on the wall of the church in Dinxperlo. Dedicated to the 51st HD & especially to 5th Seaforths & 7th Argylls, with names of casualties.

The 2nd is remembering the Jewish people from the town who were victims of the Holocaust and the Synagogue which was burned down in 1945. I Cannot understand why it was burned in 1945 and not earlier. Amongst the names are 7 members of one family, the youngest were twins of 2 years old.

The St Julien memorial was sent to me by a friend, found on the road into St Julien France.
