Any grave photos required?

Next week or so, I'll be visiting the following cemeteries with WW2 graves. If anyone requires any photos from any, just let me know by Friday night...

Lommel Soldatenfriedhof
Ysselsteyn Soldatenfriedhof
Oosterbeek CWGC
Groesbeek CWGC
Oostaverne Wood CWGC
Bedford House CWGC
Bleuet Farm CWGC
Cement House CWGC
Kemmel Chateau CWGC
Nine Elms CWGC
Underhill Farm CWGC

There will be others, but these are the ones I have reason to visit.

Dave.

Hi Dave,

If you come across any Canadian casualties i'd appreciate photos of those if possible. I can give you names or the numbers in a cemetery if you need them.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Youch Mike! I'll come across hundreds (thousands?) of them! Groesbeek is classified as a Canadian cemetery anyway.

Can you be more specific, or would a random selection be OK?

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi Dave,

I would be most appreciative if you can assist.

I am cataloguing the total 10,836 RAAF deaths/burials and there seem to be two cemeteries relevant on your list. There are 205 burials spread over 43 cemeteries in Belgium alone. (not a lot but spread all over the place)

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Dave,

Opps for got there were quite a few in that one, didn't look at my Data Sheet before asking, Sorry about that. There is one Canadian buried at Underhill Farm, details are:
Cliff Corporal Henry James 258917 8th Canadian Railway Troops 5th June 1917 A8

Also one at Cement House
Mcwade Pilot Officer (Air Gnr.) John Robert J/89887 149 (RAF) Sqdn Royal Canadian Air Force 1st June 1944 XXI A10

Would appreciate those if you could get them please. If you come across any other cemeteries where there is only a few Canucks buried there would also appreciate those as well if you could.

Have a great time and if there is anything i can do for you in return please do not hesitate to ask.

Many thanks
Mike

None (so far!) should be of any problem. I'll do what I can.

Geoff - I take it that it's just the RAAF graves that you are looking for. Do you want me to photograph any others that I may come across ? (as I said, the above list is my "definate" visits, but I'll probably be visiting others too). If there are any others in Nederland that you want photographing (other than the 2 cems already mentioned), let me have their details too as I might just be passing (my short Belgium visit is restricted purely to the Ieper and the Gent area mind).

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the offer.

I will put them on a spreadsheet and send them to your website MSN account. Let me know by PM if that is not okay.

Cheers

That's fine, Geoff. I was going to suggest something similar.
