RAF Moreton-in-Marsh

Three of the graves dates tie in with incidents recorded in the RAF Moreton-in-Marsh diary already referred to Diary

Sgt. Rice, C.W.P. RAAF
28/1/42
2 Wellingtons on a night exercise over Radwell bombing range collide, the crews of R1165 ('C' Flight) and Z1157 ('E' Flight) bail out except Sgt. Rice, who lost his life.

Sgt. Worley, T.A. RAAF
21/5/42
An Anson, N5259, hits HT power lines near Kingham, killing two and injuring three.

Sgt. Barber, F.J.McN. RAAF
22/3/43
A Tiger Moth (R5203) of 2 EFTS at Worcester crashed just outside the village of Moreton-in-Marsh while performing unauthorised aerobatics, the Australian pilot and Canadian passenger (Sgt. Dunn, O.C. RCAF) were both killed.

There is nothing in the log for either 7/12/42 (McGuire) or 5/5/43 (Miller and McCormack)

Spidge,

Tried to send you some photos today and they came back saying that your email account was full. It might be an idea if you set up an email account just for recieving the photos you have asked for.

Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike,

I do have the entire burials in all countries however it would not hurt to cross reference them with yours.

Your previous email showed an Australian that I did not have as he had a British number.

Cheers

Geoff

Geoff,
Can you post details for graves in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire , Berkshire , Oxfordshire & Hampshire, if possible ?
I can then see the ones I'll be able to get to.

Thanks Owen,

Unfortunately, I have only associated the cemeteries with country and area as far as "F". If the offer still holds, I will have them finished by the end of next week and will be able to sort the 10,000 plus entries by country and area in one click of the key and cut and paste those to their own spreadsheet.

Cheers

Geoff
