Hi Owen,

Thanks for that, and must check my records, I'd lost the first one ...

Don't suppose you have a general photo of the memorial itself?
Nothing ventured ...

Regards,
Diane

Find out if there are any in LA DELIVRANDE WAR CEMETERY, DOUVRES
as my great uncle is buried there and we always go to show our respects

Lee,
You lucky thing - I have at least another 15 years to go ...

If you can fit Bayeux in I would appreciate it. If you can, would you please keep an eye out for headstones for any Unknown Irish Guardsmen?

Otherwise enjoy your holiday.

The above list is as complete as I could make it for 2 and 3 Bns., subject to usual errors. I don't think I would have any at La Delivrande - mostly a D-Day cemetery, isn't it? These guys arrived D+10 so think they would be at Bayeux onwards.

Thanks for the offer, appreciate it.
Diane

Hi,

Anyone else going to France in the near future?

I seem to be getting along well with photos from other countries, but France seems to be a sticking point. If anyone could help with photos for any of the above-named cemeteries, even general ones, I really would appreciate it.

You can also PM me if you wish.

Cheers,
Diane

Hi Martin,
Nice to 'see' you again, over here. [You very kindly got me Gwynne before.] I would very much appreciate another favour from you then.

Everything from this thread is still outstanding, so anything to kick it off would be great.

Thanks,
Diane
