I wonder if you have a photo of HMS Ribble a River class frigate from WW2 Which our local village collected money for on Warship week in 1942 . And also HMS Dido a anti aircraft cruiser my late uncle served on .

Do you have any of the Empire Battleaxe? It was either this or HMS Glenearn that ferried my Grandad on D-Day.

Hi Matt - unfortunately not very good ones I`m afraid.

I enclose a small picture of Empire Battleaxe and as well a picture of one of the landing craft that was used to decant soldiers from her to the beach during D-Day.
