Kieron Hill is on a distinguished road
Can anyone help me piece together the information i.e. ships names, movements,
campaigns etc..I have on my late grandfather or did anyone serve alongside him?

"do" is just another way of writing "ditto" or "as above"

Gaglet would be Eaglet - A Shore Base at Liverpool

Lanopus would be Canopus - A Shore Base in Alexandria

Gormorant would be Cormorant - A Shore base at Gibraltar

Afrikauda IV would be Afrikander IV - A Shore Base at Durban
