Russian convoy medal

My father Ronald is now 93 and was on carrier HMS Trumpeter 09. The artic cross has been awarded to a number of local participants. How do I get in touch with the relevant authorities to obtain recognition for Dad.

Would that be the recently approved arctic emblem? not entirely sure but this might help:
Veterans agency arctic award.
and if it doesn't I'm sure they'd be the people to ask.
Good luck & maximum respect to your father.
Cheers,
Adam.

Ian,

If you 'google' Arctic Emblem you'll find the website and from there you can download the application. Fill it in and send it of to the authorities for consideration. If you're applying on your father's behalf you'll need proff of identity etc but the form explains all.

I'm applying for my father, Bill Grier, who served on HMS Onslow on the 'Russian Run'.

Best of luck
