I'm looking for some information on German sniper rifles.

I saw the other topic on this subject, but I'm looking specifically for any info on sniper rifles; like what were the makes and models, how did they differ from standard rifles, etc?

If any one has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I believe that various versions of the Kar98 were fitted with scopes and used as sniper rifles. I don't know any of the specific German specially made sniper rifles.
