Hmm, top 10 inventions. Let me see...

1. Upkeep and Highball
2. Grandslam
3. Tallboy
4. Penicillin to repair the damage of the above.
5. Single wing aircraft (refined by war)
6. Computers
7. Knickbein/Oboe/Gee-H
8. Jet engine
9. Plastic surgery (Just look at the 'Guinea Pigs')
10. Female equality (we worked in the factories and in the fields so the war could be won)
This is my current top 10, and is liable to change at any moment, so be warned.

Monty Python is very welcome, though i prefer Eric and Ernie...
It's in the genes. Hmm? You must know my mother.
As to the bombs, you have to admit they were ruddy amazing for the technology of the time, and when compared to the current smart bombs that have, what was it, a 10% accuracy rate? I rest my case. If it ain't broke don't try and fix the sodding thing. By the way, i wish i was still under 17. But if you're asking...

Actually, the third bar was a quote from the line book of 106 Sq. I don't bother crawling as i can act like an absolute plonker without the intervention of alcohol, thank you very much.
Wonder what you'd get if you crossed Widelstein with Upkeep? Could be interesting.
Ooh, Number 11! The Meacon (and possibly the Treens as well)
