![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | T34 Recovery. Wasn't sure If I've ever posted these on this or the previous forum, so thought I would anyway. T34 In captured German Colours recovered by a Russian Diving club (Leningrad??). Astonishing state of preservation, apparently all the repair required to achieve Video4 was to slough the thing out with fire-hoses. I now can't find the site I got 'em off as it was all in Russian, I'll credit 'em later if I can. Hope you like it anyway, Amazes me. Click on the pics to play the videos. Cheers, Adam. (didn't really know where to post as it's axis & allied technology, any chance we can merge these forums as so many subjects will cross over anyway??) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

So... packed full of ammunition... Estonian woods... reckon they fired the gun after starting her up? (cheers for that second site JT, more good stuff.) |

![]() | Pulled the tank out...now what? This tank will need a lot of restoration. More importantly, it seems to be loaded with ammunition. They'd better get the bomb squad in quickly. However, I'm most impressed, and my congratulations to the recovery crew. Good work!

![]() | Russian T34 tank pulled from lake, after 56 years. Still runs. I found this on the "Stuff You Can Use" website and found it fascinating. World History | Russian T34 tank pulled from lake, after 56 years. Still runs. | Stuffucanuse |
