No meat on 'er. On the programme, I've got to agree that the music was bizarre, happening more and more often that strange industrial electronica is played when someone's trying to talk. Ourbill, check out Dave Arnold with the Sherman & Comet, a million miles away from the Littlefield & Wheatcroft world, operates on an absolute shoestring but still gets results. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Was thinking about Salvage squad... The reason I think I'm defending this programme despite it's large dollop of sattelite-ish flimsiness is I've only ever seen 2 other programmes that have covered my own personal fixation with the modern restoration of the vehicles. One was Salvage Squad and the M10, & the other was Bovington's 'Saving the Tiger' DVD. Spent so long trying to find out more about Wheatcroft's collection (having seen his FAMO and other vehicles at shows) that the quick shots round his storage yard were like gold-dust to me. |

![]() | I've watched the Comet episode and half of the Panther one. Very interesting and watchable, its just a shame about the stupid filler shots of speeded up clouds every few minutes, but I taped it so can fast forward those bits. But on the whole anything to do with tanks is interesting and I'll never get tired of watching them drive around in mud! |
