I totally understand Claire. Hmmmmm, Axel and Jerry. Anyhoo.......

I was fascinated by the Sherman, but why did we leave it half way through the restoration? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

I'll be off in about 50 minutes to watch the repeat.

I loved the Sherman episode despite only seeing a red-oxide painted hull at the end . I want to see some one create a cut and shut Sherman hybrid using an M4A1 hull front and and M4 rear, that would be interesting. I missed the Comet episode, pity because it's my favourite allied tank of WW2 but they'll be on again if UKTV Histroy's programming is anything to judge by

I bet you they never finished it in the repeat as well! You would have to ask the broadcasters why they stoped half way through.

Serious question. Do you folks in the UK pay for broadcast TV?

Depends. Everyone with a TV MUST pay the delightful License Fee to fund the BBC. No choice on that. Think of it as money with menacies. Other than that there is the choice. Stick with terrestial TV so no other add ons. Go for digital, which everyone will have to do eventually, and you can choose monthly Sky or cable, or a one off payment for a Digital TV/box and get a set number of channels at no extra cost.

Why do you ask?

I wasn't aware, so all your TV is like PBS but not voluntary and no commercials.
