![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've often wondered if a collapsible military canoe of the period my old man owns is of the same type they used, looks like it might be. Cockle Mark II Used to use it until fairly recently & certainly wouldn't even contemplate the sea or 70+ miles in one! Reenactments website: Operation Frankton 2007 RM's official page: Operation Frankton I didn't know they were based at Lumps Fort on Portsea, shall have to have a shufti next time I'm down south. Cheers, Adam.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | List of stores carried in each Cockle. I like the laxative pills, shouldn't think they needed them.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Kewdos, The canoe my old man has does indeed come in bags and carries more than the odd Arrow mark. Been a decade since I last looked at it so I'm afraid I can't provide any more info than that, we always thought it a fifties thing that my Grandad had somehow 'acquired' in a long career in the Signals. New members have slightly limited posting permissions until they reach 5 posts, I've skipped you up to a normal user status and you should now be fine with pictures etc. Cheers, Adam.
