![]() | Although I'm not the World's greatest Time-Team fan ( that is an understatement ! ) I found this one quite interesting.Although hey did waste a fair bit of time on fruitless stuff which seems to happen with their 'modern'-era digs, the spigot-mortar site was certainly worth doing. But the 'star' had to be the backyard communications centre.....I'd have liked to know some more about that. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I feel strangely cheated. I want a secret bunker in my back yard... Time team often bugs me, Tony Robinson in particular, but this was a good 'un.

![]() | I found it quite interesting, my dad grow up a stones throw away from Shooters Hill, I am familiar with the area, so I did have more than a passing interest, the bunker in the garden was brilliant, as to their theory on it, I don't know, It's as good as anybodies guess. definetly seen a lot worse that's for sure

![]() | Just shows what goes on around you without your knowledge. I lived a stones throw away from that area and apart from Barrage Balloons was completely unaware of any other activity. The programme did confirm what I have always believed. Knowing the British spirit, that I think still exists, Had the Germans mounted an invasion immediately after Dunkirk, I have always doubted that they would have got beyond London and the Royal Navy theory, mentioned by one of the experts, appears to confirm my belief.
