![]() | Bed and Breakfast in Bayeux going to above area for a few days and want to stay in a comfortable B&B near to Bayeux. Paul Reed suggested a Hotel in the town and I thank him for that but would prefer something smaller? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks tony

I have never stayed in any, but my father used to stay with one run by a D Day vet who had married a French lady - but I have lost touch with them and no idea if they are even still there. There are no 'battlefield B&Bs', but there are a few UK owned ones. I would contact Bayeux Tourist Office, who are usually pretty helpful: OFFICE DE TOURISME INTERCOMMUNAL DE BAYEUX
