![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just booked Ferry with NorfolkLine, Dover to Dunkerque for £81 return in August. Not bad. Got an idea for a campsite near the Seine, not far from that cottage I mentioned before or may try up on the coast to let kids play on beach. May even get to Vernon . ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is doing my head in looking for campsites. We've a huge tent and want seperate WC blocks, not alot to ask. Pitches too small or mixed toilet blocks etc. Don't the French do a BIG field with WC for men or women not both? Anyone got any recommendations? At the moment top two choices are at Fecamp, Domaine de Reneville : camping tente caravane et location de chalets or near Etretat. ETRETAT CAMPING 3 ETOILES PISCINE MOBIL-HOME LOCATION NORMANDIE HEBERGEMENT SEINE-MARITIME FECAMP AIGUILLE CREUSE PLAGE CAMPAGNE CARAVANING FALAISE - Camping l'Aiguille Creuse - Bienvenue Close to seaside for kids, hour & 3/4 from Vernon. Or half hour to hour for St Valery en Caux. Not too bad. Last edited by Owen; 01-06-2007 at 11:58 AM. |

![]() | Owen, As I said looks good, 2 hourish drive from Dunkerque. Have a great time I'm all booked up for my place in late June, and I am spending a night in Ieper on the way home Steve

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Instead of Vernon, (which when we looked at it we were glad we didn't stay there ) we stayed at this one in Les Andelys, on the very banks of the Seine. Totally recommend this site. Good swimming pool, huge pitches, just a few stand-up and squat toilets for when the sit down ones are taken. Mind your feet when you flush. ![]() Ville des Andelys - Le Camping Last edited by Owen; 06-09-2007 at 12:38 AM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Looks decent enough, Owen (but....is there a bar?). Pretty quiet for August? One for me to bear in mind for the near future I think. I don't suppose you noticed whether my "camping - le cimitiere" is still going at Veules-les-Roses when you were in the vicinity, did you? dave
