![]() | There is no T-34 at Treptow Park but there are indeed two at the Tiergarten memorial, along with an artillery piece. We met two fellow English guys at the memorial, one of whom had done his national service in the army in Berlin in the early 1950s. He was told at the time that the crews' bodies were still sealed inside the tanks! A good story but I don't believe it. There is no obvous sign of battle damage to either vehicle. |
